People are already speculating on who the top 10 2012 Republican Presidential Candidates will be and we have decided to give you our list of the most likely Republicans to take on Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential contest.
- Mitt Romney
The former governor of Massachusetts had a strong showing in the last election cycle and we think he will be the frontrunner for the 2012 republican candidate. - Sarah Palin
Love her or hate her, Sarah Palin has a large following, especially among ultra conservatives and she could have a real chance to take on Obama. Her run as VP on the McCain ticket may not have ended well but time will make most of us forget. She has publicly stated that she is not running but everything she has done lately says otherwise. - Mike Huckabee
The former governor of Arkansas also had a strong showing and has a loyal following among religious conservatives because of his background. - Newt Gingrich
He has remained a top Republican figure even with some unfortunate events in the past and will probably take a run at it in 2012. - Rudy Giuliani
Giuliani appeals to many people in the center of the political spectrum and should be a presence in the debates. His experience as mayor of New York and with 9/11 will always bring some followers. - Bobby Jindal
Jindal has been annointed by many in the media as a rising star of the Republican party. He is currently the governor of Louisiana and has been active as a voice in the Republican party. - Ron Paul
Ron Paul has a very loyal following among conservatives and libertarians that don’t believe in big government. He is currently a representative from the state of Texas. - Tim Pawlenty
There has been alot of talk that the current governor of Minnesota will declare as a republican candidate. - Haley Barbour
The current governor of Mississippi may decide to run since he will not be able to be governor after 2011 because of term limits. - Jeb Bush
He was mentioned as a possible candidate in the 2008 presidential election and did not run, so he is probably not likely to in 2012 but who knows. It may be time to renew the Bush presidential legacy in the white house.
If Ron Paul were to pick-up on the tea party movement, then he could realalize his dream, and be the first liberal in the WH. A lot of people are looking at potus and asking if it is worth the risk to expose them selfs. and on that note, next Huckabee, then Palin….just my guess!
